Wedding videographers quickly discovered the advantages of the HI-POD. The church is very particular about tri-pods in the aisles. The beautiful shot that all wedding couples desire is the aerial of the couple walking down the aisle. It is a beautiful because it says it all, but that shot is very difficult to obtain without a platform, or tripod system. The HI-POD , however, makes it effortless. Since the HI-POD is easy to setup the user can quickly extend or contract the HI-POD and reposition himself if space is needed- something very difficult for a big tripod or platform.

The reception is also another environment where the HI-POD excels. The videographer can position himself on or near the dance floor and capture spectacular aerial footage that until recently could only be captured by a crane. HI-POD was invited by the Wedding Event Videography Association (WEVA) and Sony to capture images of their annual banquet. Below are some examples.
